“Three Musings” wins the 2015 NewMusic @ East Carolina University Orchestra Composition Competition | Greenville, NC

Three Musings” is on the move again!  This time, it was selected as the winner in the North Carolina NewMusic Initiative Orchestral Composition Competition 2015 from an international pool of scores.  The competition is open to all composers, regardless of age, nationality, or institutional affiliation.

As a result, I will be travelling to hear the East Carolina University Symphony Orchestra perform “Three Musings” at their New Music Festival in Greenville, North Carolina on March 28, 2015.  I am also very excited about the opportunity to give a seminar and masterclass of my music to ECU students when in residence.

Previous winners of the competition include Michael-Thomas Foumai, Nicholas Omiccioli, Jessica Rudman, Paul Siskind, Ingrid Stolzel, Chen Yao, Christopher Dietz, and Anthony Iannccone.
