“Three Musings” is on the move again after being selected as one of four finalist pieces in the second 4×4 Competition for both composers and conductors! The piece will be rehearsed by four up-and-coming student conductors with the University of Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra in two days of rehearsals on February 5-6, after which a winning and runner-up piece will be performed in concert.
I am excited to travel to Oklahoma in next February to meet the finalists and hear Three Musings come to life again under four very talented conductors, who will surely bring four very different interpretations to my piece. More about the competition here.
