A project that took place in the context of the “Music for Film” course at U of T, I was approached by several senior year animators from Sheridan College to score their final project. One of the animations that I had the pleasure of working with was Gaeller, a touching short film about the journey of a child facing alienation from peers and eventually finding acceptance in being who he was meant to be. To capture the essence of the story, I wrote a piano score which I performed along with the animation. Directed by Cheryl Lee.
