Program Notes
“Perfect Gifts was written for and dedicated to Sarah for her birthday. The title takes from the verse from the letter of James in the New Testament, where he writes that “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the Heavenly lights.” Being a gift for my girlfriend, the music reflects my love for her and my joy from knowing her.
