June 2026 – The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) today officially announced the nominees for the 2026 Dora Mavor Moore Awards, celebrating excellence in the city’s professional theatre, dance, and opera communities. Among the celebrated nominees is the critically acclaimed contemporary production Tapestry Briefs: Under Where, produced by Tapestry Opera.
I am honored to be among the collaborative team from Tapestry Opera’s 2025 LibLab cohort to be nominated! As part of this production, I composed two mini-operas: Sordes (co-written by Christene Adina Browne) and Grief House (co-written by Rachel Gray). This nomination is reflective of the incredible team that put on the operas last October spearheaded by artistic director Michael Mori. The award ceremony will be held on Monday, June 29th.
