October 2024 – Just announced: the full Philadelphia Orchestra under the direction of principle guest conductor Marin Alsop will be embarking on a tour of multiple cities in China, including Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, and Haikou. In addition to the standard repertoire, the Philadelphia Orchestra with tenor Thomas Glenn and baritone Valdis Jansons will reprise their performance of Yellow Crane Tower on November 2nd at Beijing’s National Center for the Performing Arts!

Yellow Crane Tower has been championed by the iSing! International Young Artists Festival ever since they chose the work as their composition competition winner in 2020. Feeling excited and grateful that the music continues to live on!
