Thrilled to be joining the Canadian Opera Company’s After School Opera Program (ASOP) as lead artist for the 2019/2020 season! I will be writing three new children’s operas that will be performed by participants in the ASOP program. Guided by myself and co-lead Annie Castillo, children in the program explore opera through singing, composing, and drama. This fun and unique program develops children’s performance and music skills while nurturing their self-confidence. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebratory performance on the final day.
