Grand Prize Winner – Warren County Music School’s Young Composers’ Competition | Warren, Pennsylvania

I am very pleased to announce that “Jest” has won the grand prize at the 2017 WCSMC’s Promising Young Composers’ Competition!  (really long title).  The piece was the winner of the 24-30 years old category and was the overall winner of the competition.  Additional young composer winners include Thomas Faulkner in the 19-23 category and Natsumi Osborn in the 15-18 age category.  Congratulations to both!  There is a potential performance with the local orchestra in Warren Pennsylvania but the details have not been released yet.  Keep an eye on the events page for updates!
