Florida State University Symphony Performs “Genesis” for 2017 New Music Festival | Tallahassee, USA

This coming February 2-4, I will be heading to Tallahassee Florida for the annual Florida State University New Music Festival, where my orchestral piece “Genesis” (2015) was recently selected for performance by the Florida State University Symphony Orchestra on their final concert, taking place in the evening of February 4, 2017 at the beautiful Ruby Diamond Hall!  I am still in shock knowing that the piece was selected out of over 500 submissions for the festival, but I am very excited that the piece will have its US premiere with the premier ensemble at FSU!  For those who are not able to attend, the concert will be live streamed and recorded for later viewing via WFSU TV.  On the same program is ‘Nemesis’ by Ana Paola Alcocer, and “The Hague Hacking”, a double piano concerto by Dutch composer-in-residence Louis Andriessen.
