Illuminate, written for the 2025 Asian Youth Orchestra, captures the transformation of Hong Kong at dusk as the skyline bursts into a symphony of LED lights. Shimmering motifs and brass ostinati mirror the city’s energy and represent the brilliance of young musicians. Just as lights illuminate the night, this piece celebrates the power of youth to inspire and shape their future in spite of challenges in their path.
