PORTRAITS Live, Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC – Up for GRAMMY Voting

October 2025 – Earlier in 2022, I penned a new TTBB work for men’s chorus titled “Do you see me?”, a work that was in response to a color portrait of the same name by American artist Linda Lowery. This piece was eventually premiered by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington D.C. at the Kennedy Center in June 2024, and is now released in their live album – a substantial project featuring the work of nine composers, nine choreographers, and nine artists.

PORTRAITS Live is now up for First Round voting for the 2026 GRAMMY cycle in the category of Best Choral Performance – a significant validation of their work promoting new voices.
