May 2025 – Hello! Despite being a busy season of teaching and composing, I am glad to be able to (finally) update everyone on what’s been cooking behind the scenes. First of all, I am very excited to announce that the Asian Youth Orchestra will be touring my newest work, “Illuminate“, in China, Japan and Taiwan from August 3-30, 2025! Franco-Swiss conductor Joseph Bastian will lead the program, and the work will be paired with Rachmaninoff’s 3rd Piano Concerto with pianist George Li as soloist and Mahler’s 5th Symphony. Below are some of the venues where you can catch the piece:
