Nov 30 – Thank you, thank you, and thank you, to the Metcalf Foundation for the 2023 Johanna Metcalf Performing Arts Prize. Their commitment and generosity towards the arts is astonishing, and I am simply honored to be on the receiving end. Congratulations to all the winners & finalists last night, including composer Sami Anguaya, who receives the Johanna Metcalf Protégé Award in recognition of his artistry and growing accomplishments in the field.
