November 2023 – The innovative Moab Music Festival in Utah has commissioned a new work for chamber ensemble to be premiered in their 32nd season:
I am excited to be embarking on this journey with MMF to create a new work centered on the importance of the Colorado River to all the peoples of the region. I am grateful for the Festival and its music director, Michael Barrett, for entrusting me with this special commission which will be part of an exciting series of concerts happening on the Colorado River in September 2024!
